My dad is a very odd duck. He is wonderfully dorky and childish almost all the time. He sometimes lays around the house playing video games or watching television, but most of the time he is working. He works a lot more than most probably do. He doesn't just work during his job, he works when he is at home too. I am proud to say that my dad is a very hard worker. Even though he works a lot he always makes time for me and my mom. My dad is truly amazing and I am forever grateful that I have him in my life.
My mom is the complete opposite of my dad. She is serious and realistic when it comes to life. Though she is serious, she can still be really funny and exciting to hangout with. My mom has a personality that is very surprising to most. When you first meet her she doesn't seem very fun and crazy, but the more you get to know her the more you find out how wild she can be. Her and I often go out and drive on old country roads and just talk. I trust my mom with everything and I can tell her anything that is on my mind. I love that I can trust her no matter what and I love my mom very much!
I have multiple pets that live in my house, but my favorite is my dog. My dog, Chewy, is an absolute weirdo. Chewy has black and tan hair, he is about thigh high, and he barks constantly. Though he is annoying, I love him so much. Whenever there is a thunderstorm he scratches at my door until I open it, and then he climbs up into my bed and sleeps with me all night. I first saw Chewy in a barn, he was surrounded by three other puppies. At first my parents wanted the only girl puppy there but I convinced them that Chewy was the best pup there. After we got Chewy and took him home we became really close, he was my little bubby and my favorite in the family.
One of the three animals that live in my house is my cat named Bunny. Bunny technically wasn't originally my families cat, she was my neighbors cat. Bunny's mother was my neighbors cat, Cookie, that always came over to our house. The more she came over to our house the more my family started to like her and eventually she turned out to be pregnant. After Cookie had her babies, we decided she could stay at our house with her five kittens. Almost all the kittens and the mom disappeared or died, except for Bunny. Bunny stayed around our house for about a year so we decided to bring her inside the house and she has been there ever since.
I have a cat who thinks she is a dog. Her name is Hazelnut and she is the fattest cat I have ever seen. Out of all the animals that live in my house, I have had her the longest. I got her a short time before I moved to a different school. She is a wonderfully odd cat and I love her very much. I often cuddle up with her on the couch and watch television for hours. Ever since I got her all we do together is sleep and eat food, which is why she is my favorite baby girl.
